Currently, we are only building 2005-2006 C6 differentials that are sent to us directly from the car for which they will be re-installed, due to the sparse core market for those. Therefore, once we receive the differential from your car here, the build lead time, depending on what options you choose, is typically 3-5 business days.

Yes there are special tools for the installing the R&P. The pinion depth tool is not the important one to have thoough, there is another for setting preload on the housing that is a must have. The C5/6 has a side housing preload of .004 that needs to be at that, not a +or-. This is usually what causes them to blow apart under power when the tolerance in not correct.
