you could buy drop spindles that a few WC teams use. They are about $1000 EACH.

Your car should settle back down to the original height over a little time. The way the suspension works, the bolts are in shear as well as compression, and everything takes a bit longer to settle due to the combined loading.

The rear bolts are in tension only...not compression and certainly not shear!

In the C5 they were in Tension, but on the C6 they are in compression, just like the front. The sheer comes from the fact that the control-arm length and the spring-arm length aren't the same, therefor the contact point moves back and forth slightly as the suspension travels up and down.

If you take the lower control arms off, you will see that the contact patch is not round, but it is a stretched out Oval, due to this sideways movement.

The C6 adjusment is more elegant, but much harder to lower very much.

Default sorry 4 the mix up

Its F55 as my car is 2005 C6,

Its been like a nightmare since I put the original bolts back on the rear
The car is behaving nervously over small pumbs or holes.I can feel the rear end is not stable and ready to lose and more weight is on the front end.

Its been over a month ats its not back to original height..I wonder if the mechanic fixed then proparly..

Its too bad there is no cheap mod to lower it and keep the rubber insulation.

there simply isn't enough room between the spring/arm to lower the car enough without removing the joince rubber.

There is a chance you could remove the spring, cut the rubber off of the top of the spring and re-install it. This would move the spring higher into the car. This is the way we use to lower C4 Corvettes.
