Just wanted to say hello to my new forum! I have upgraded from my slightly modded '04 GTO to a new '05 vette. Amazing car so far
I installed LT/HF cats/ and SLP powerflo cat back on the GTO and after 3 or 4 months ended up removing the cat back due to the drone. After that, the GTO with the LTs and stock cat back sounded great, had no drone, and still managed 109 trap speed.
I would like to do exhaust and a tune to the vette...here's my question...has anybody just done long tubes / high flow cats with leaving the rest of the exhaust stock? If so, how loud is it on the interior? any issues? is there a cat back system that has no drone?
I am running LG longtubes, stock cats, Corsa Sport exhaust. No drone while cruising but very very loud when accelerating. My nearest neighbor has complained to me about it. My wife always knows when I am within 200 yards of the driveway. But, I must say, I like it. I am running 392rwhp.

Are you leaving your house at WOT in the middle of the night, or is he just ****?
