Default Lambo doors?

Who has them on there car? What company did you use? Do you think they are worth it? Are they hard to open and close? Would you get them again? How hard were they to put on? Thanks 10sec-c6

Do a search and you should find a thread on it.

I live west Detroit off of 8 mile, but I don't live on the part of 8 mile were that would be popular.

that looks awsome--- I have heard it needs to be done by the pros. If your typical home mechanic tries it there will be issues.- I wanna do it anyone local in central cal to do an install with experiance?

well i guess while you had the front end apart you might as well hace...what kit did you use and did you have to cut the fender at all. the first kits required this and i do not want to do that but i want the lambo doors bad..

Walk......NO, RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!!!!!

I am not gonna flame any company, but unless you are gonna use your C6 as a strictly show only car, I would not do this mod.

I have read nothing but nightmares w/ fit and finish w/ the lambo doors.

Just this out, from someone on the board that just did this w/ a C5:

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...s&forum_id=103

Car looks awesome IMO, but not for me.

Cajun, what up?

Default lambo doors

c6 applications fit great c5's are a different story. On the c6 the doors need to be trimmed to make room that is what everybodys problem is with the right shop installing your doors you will love them nothing looks more exotic than pulling up to the gas pumps and lifting the doors. As far as being like stock Ive been 180 plus mph in my personal car and the doors never were anydifferent than stock. check us out fcct.net or 571 434 7374

FCCT, what brand do you use for your Lambo door kits? What kind of trimming needs to be done for these to work on the C6?

vertical doors don't even close right on an actual lamborghini, and they are engineered and built in a factory to open vertically. how good do you think a kit for a vette will be?

The Magnetic Red Metalic C6 with lambo doors in photo's is mine. I had FCCT do the install. Wes, at FCCT, refused to do my doors until he did his on his silver one (shown in photo's). FCCT did a fantastic job on mine. Everything works well, no problems. They did need to do some shaving on the door. When they were done, they brought in a professional painter and touched up the doors. I had chrome hindges installed for the look when the doors are open. The doors are worth it if you want your vette to look different from the rest. Not for everyone, but its a great option.

That's why we own Corvettes!!! The technology used on the hinges I haveto say seem to be pretty good. To each their own. Some may like it some may not I will report back after a couple of months on how my doors fair.

Doesn't look like a good option for a big & tall guy. Looks like some of the entry/exit room is taken away with open door position. Looks nice though.
