I have an 05 Coupe with auto tranny and 3:15 rear end.
I have the following mods:
Kooks Long Tube Headers
Kook High Flow Cats
Corsa Sport Exhaust
Calloway " Honker" Intake
Polished/Ported Throttle Body
I am waiting on my ECM/ TCM tune from Ron at Z Industries.
Will I see a noticable difference once I get the new ECM/TCM installed?
What is the difference between an 05 PCM and a 06 PCM??? I have herd that tuners have software for the 06 but some dont have the ability to tune an 06???

from what i understand once a tuner has done enough tune with different combination of mods, he/she will have enough data to reflash the pcm without the need for the car to be there. when i spoke to ron few weeks ago, he did tell me if i want my 06 tune, he would need the car there. after your tune you should see around 10hp gain from what he told me but the car will feel like it has alot more....keep us updated on your result when you get your pcm back.

I have done too many "similar" cars that are, in fact, "not similar". Enough of them that I know I could not do a mailorder tune to the same degree as a "hands on tune" ....at least without doing several (if not many) logged data runs and subsequent re-flashes to get it acceptable.
Now, before I get flamed, I know this goes against the grain of the mailorder guys but it's been my expereince.
I suggest you find a competent local tuner and have them do the work.
If you do go mailorder, at least log data, feed it back to the tuner, and get it dialed in.

Just my $.02 worth.

Listen to Charlie. The manufacturing tolerances of a totally stock car can stack up one way or another so that no two will be satisfied with exactly the same tune. Throw in aftermarket parts and the situation just gets worse. There's no substitute for realtime testing to close the loop between what should be and what actually is.
