I spoke with Jeremy a couple of times and I have an extra (new) intake that I will be sending to him. I also have to consider whether or not to try his Diablo Sport tune(s) since I get free custome tunes from Running With The Devil for a year. Anyone have a DYNO showing just the ported intake. I'd love to see where the power is made.

I have one, but it's not ported by Jeremy, and it makes power ALL over.
PM for details...

Sorry guys, I don't do pictures But Joe_G has posted some comments on my work that would tell you a little bit... but still no where near the whole story.
My rates are quite affordable and I'd be happy to bring you into the fold. Just PM me for details if you are interested.

C'mon Cory, post the pics, let everyone else make money off of your research and testing.

Seriously though guys, for the price he charges, why even risk cutting too deep and making your manifold worthless? Swapping the intake is a DIY job, not porting it.

People show head and combustion chamber porting all the time, so I'm not sure why this intake stuff is a big secret on this forum. A home porter could definitely do this, but I'm not sure if it's worth the effort considering what the vendors charge. I miss the days when this forum was more about the technology and the cars, and less about everyone making a quick buck.

The flipside is that I post pics... some guy thinks he sees and understands everything that went on from a picture. He ports his own and is disappointed because it doesn't do the same as mine. He says it doesn't work... others say it does.... back and forth... on and on.

I can see from the pics you've posted that some areas are touched but not the real extent of the work. Its natural for all people to underestimate in such a circumstance. My pictures would be similarly inadequate. I guess I'd prefer to avoid that whole situation.

Here's a favorite humorous story... it seems to fit the situation at hand-

"Did you ever heard the story of the giant ship engine that failed? The ship's owners tried one expert after another, but none of them could figure but how to fix the engine. Then they brought in an old man who had been fixing ships since he was a youngster. He carried a large bag of tools with him, and when he arrived, he immediately went to work. He inspected the engine very carefully, top to bottom.

Two of the ship's owners were there, watching this man, hoping he would know what to do. After looking things over, the old man reached into his bag and pulled out a small hammer. He gently tapped something. Instantly, the engine lurched into life. He carefully put his hammer away. The engine was fixed! A week later, the owners received a bill from the old man for ten thousand dollars.

"What?!" the owners exclaimed. "He hardly did anything!"

So they wrote the old man a note saying, "Please send us an itemized bill."

The man sent a bill that read:

Tapping with a hammer ........................$ 2.00
Knowing where to tap ......................... $ 9998.00"

If you are that concerned about it just post the pictures with a disclaimer "Don't try this at home"

Exactly. People that are willing to share their experiences and information are what make this forum worth visiting.

I only asked for pics b/c I don't have any idea what an intake manifold looks like, and what porting does to it, and it would help me to visualize it. I have no intention of doing this myself, believe me! I guess it just means the little holes carrying air into the engine are enlarged.

How about a diagram?

I once asked a urologist to explain how he does an enlargement; do you think that means I'd try that at home?

CHarris85Vette isn't even a supporting vendor and he is trying to sell on this forum. isn't this breaking the rules here.

Yes, and all the tuners should post thier custom tuning files so we don't have to go to them anymore for tunes. Let's make everything free

*Tuners* don't belong in a thread that clearly asks for specific information about porting if they don't intend to help. "I know, but I'm not telling" is pretty lame, IMO.
