Default swap LS2 Computer?

I've been reading a lot about TM and what it does and that it can be programed out. My question is. Lets say I keep the car stock and I just get the car dyno tuned and get the TM removed from the computer. Can I just swap in a stock LS2 Computer if I need to take the car in for warranty work? The TM in my A6 is pretty bad. I've never had a car w/ 400+hp that can't just break the wheels loose if I stomp it. lol I had a 05 MN6 Z51 Vette and it wasn't much better, but obviously being a stick it was pretty easy to break the tires loose, but still it got traction faster then my other cars. TM sucks!

What I'd want to do is buy a 2nd computer for my car and get the dyno tuning installed onto that computer, then if I have to take the car into the shop, I'd just reinstall the stock computer.

I do not think it is that simple. Some other modules will require additional programming or setup events performed before or after programming the Engine Control Module. Therefore, when you swap the ECM, there are other modules on the GM LAN that will loose communication with the ECM.

if you had a 05 you could do this. i got my car tuned by lg and just sent them the engine computer. i have a mn6 z51 so it is a little diffrent as when they tune your auto they will change shift points ect. so i doubt you could do this.
