I loved the hud in my Phantom a long time ago, so probably would have liked it in a Vette. However, I wanted as pure a sports car as possible, so got the Z51--and Comp Gray Wheels, which I really like on my black '06, and that was it. I also added a K&N Aircharger--much better swept area than stock, and am thinking about B&B Bullets for the sound, purely. Except for that, I won't mod anything. I bought the package I wanted, 400HP is fine, and I love the look right out of the wrapper. (One thing on K&Ns--having used them for over 20 years...if you oil them only to show no white, after a good cleaning, you will never have a problem. Let them dry overnight and stick them back in. There was never the slightest trace of oil on the MAF of any of my T/As.) The great thing about the F-body, Corvette, Porsche, et al hobbies is that you can be pure or one off and still have great fun. And dollar for dollar, the Corvette is the top of the heap!
