Sounds like you're looking to make a q-ship, or perhaps just the strongest "stock" Corvette on the block. One place to start might be with Thunder Racings CheaTR cam and heads. They are a forum vendor. No way to tell from the outside and the cam idles just like stock according to Thunder Racing. Some guys on the forum have been fooling around with porting the stock plastic intake manifold and claim it flows better. A search will probably turn up some interesting threads. The addition of a higher flow air filter to the stock air box might be a little help after the cam and heads. One of the most important modifications would be a good dyno tune. None of the things I mentioned would be visible on inspection and together would probably result in a strong "stock" Corvette.

GM Performance Parts heads and a mild cam. The heads are a CNC'd ported version that has the stock casting #'s on them. Nobody would ever know the difference.....except you!

FLGiordano brings up some great points. I ran the CheaTR cam in my H2 and it was very much like stock but is good for some added HP I think 25-30 rwhp are common gains on that one. I passed mine on to a friend (I got a cam more optomized for supercharging) and he saw a good gain on his 2004 GTO. Its a great cam in my opinion and I wish I had it in my CTS-V!... but I digress...
He's also right on about the cylinder heads, too. Even the cheapest (from a reputable vendor) stock ported heads are good for 20rwhp or so. Can't really go wrong there.
You can also do a ported intake manifold and TB. I can take care of the manifold for you but you'd have to get the TB elsewhere. My manifold has shown solid gains in hot testing on the dyno. No cool down required to see results. PM me if you would like to explore the manifold option. The charge is very reasonable.
You might also look into a underdrive crank pulley. Its hard to see... but not impossible. If they have them available for C6's then you likely see a 5-10 rwhp gain from there too.
