Default Exhaust tips-not even?

Not a big deal, but I noticed the stainless steel twin pipes on my C6 Coupe are not evenly spaced, right to left. The passenger side pair stick out about 1/2 inch further than the driver's side pair. In other words, that pair protrudes further out of the muffler. The rear ends of the mufflers are exactly lined up. SO I can only conclude the pipes are actually longer on that side.

If you look from the side (underneath) it is obvious; mufflers line up but pipes don't. I looked at a Z06 in our club and it is the same way.

Are all C6s like this?

The left/right spacing is off on mine. The tips are about 1/2" closer to the driver's side than the passenger's side.

that would drive me crazy. Isn't there any way to adjust the tips?

Loosen the clamps at the H pipe and you can move one side farther in/out. Not sure how much you can play with left/right spacing, but there's probably some play where the rubber hangers are bolted to the frame.
