Your question is not so easy to answer. There's more to it than just:
cam-cost + (labor-cost x hours)
There are collateral expenses to consider. For example, all but the mildest of cam upgrades will require a valvetrain upgrade as well. Then there is the matter of tuning. If you have an automatic, you may very well have to factor in the cost of a torque converter as well. It goes on and on.
I think your best bet is to take Anthony up on his offer, and get advice from a professional.
