Not sure about the C6 but on the C5 there are nipples you need to um erm milk? Anyway there are 3 of them on the C5 and you need to clean them out every once in a while. Could that be causing the smell?

Did you try any of the solutions mentioned in the thread in C6 Gen in which you posted?

Something I've always done to prevent A/C odors is to shut off the compressor & leave the fan on several minutes before I get to my destination & shut down the car. That allows any residual moisture to be blown out of the system rather than sitting in the pipes & ducts if you shut down with the A/C still on.

When I was a Tech here is what we would do, I still do this on my own cars too.

Start your car and run the AC on hi with the recirc off. Find the intake for fresh air at the base of the windshield and blow some kind if deodorizer/dissenfectant into the fresh air intake for a few seconds and let it run.On my 05 you have to have the hood open then you can see the intake venting on the drivers side base of the windshield. You should make sure the condenser drain is clear but I dont think that will be an issue on this new of a car. I like to use Ozium blue label because I like the smell, it kind of smells like bubblegum. Some people use Lysol, whatever you use make sure you like the smell because your going to smell it for awhile. It seems to last about a year in my car before a stink comes back.
