That's because we weren't warned in advance and we weren't the one doing the driving.

That's true. My wife loves a blast of acceleration, but only when she's expecting it, or when she's driving. She'd kill herself if she could drive the 'vette.

True enough - I did not warn her, but what fun would that have been? Still, she's really not into this type of thing... but she understands my passion for having something a little over the top.

Tony - thanks for the props. I thought the red covers would give it a little POP, and you said it - the new hood looks WICKED from the driver's seat!

A little while back I promised some audio/video when I got my car back.

Here's a few clips:
CORSA TOURING
MAGNUSON START

And a couple more pix (excuse the dirty car, been driving ALL weekend!):

Just wondering your opinion. Thanks.
As stated by fastskyline, it sounds like your info is backwards. A PD blower like a maggie makes the most low end TQ, followed by a cetrifugal super charger, followed by a turbocharger. The trade off is that (in general) a twin turbo charger set up makes the most peak HP.

Wow, I am surprised at the reaction of some of the women. I was blessed. Mine barely gets her pulse over idle and does her nails as I get on it. Desensitized??

Not necessarily true. Depending on how you match the turbochargers to the engine I've seen a good number of twin turbos that have a superior torque/power curve to that of PD superchargers, Bottom line it really comes down to the turbo matching/sizing and the overall efficiency of the system.

Congrats on the newfound horsepower Doug! I'm sure you have been "enjoying" it thouroughly since you got the car back

I hope your wife eventually gets used to it, but if not, at least it sounds like she's pretty good about letting you indulge!

Enjoy!

Hey Ed - Once it is installed how much adjusting has to be done? Is there alot of up keep with the maggie? Do you have a picture of a Silver C6 with the RKS hood?
