Default Important Question

I have a question for you guys. I have an 06 A6 with a Procharger running 6psi. Currently you can not tune out the TQ Mgt from the transmission. (Please no debate on the TQ Mgt it exists) my delima is the slow 60' times (2.0 - 2.1 no wheel spin). If I was to spray a 50 dry shot would that help coming out of the hole since the computer can only pull so much timing?

Thank you in advance for your comments.

Ted

That amazes me that you are only running two second sixty's with a pro charger at 6 psi.

I am at least dipping into the 1.9's with my A6 with just bolt ons. There must be some serious TM pulling power on your car.

Sorry don't know much about nitrous, but there is a forced induction section for C6's.

DA around 2K feet I think, ET 12.55 mph 114.97

That is about 3500 pounds with the driver.

Call me crazy........ but if you used the spray to act as an chemical intercooler besides the air to air intercooler it might just work. The computer should see even cooler air and not pull timing. (I know chemical intercooling works as I used it on my Mustang...... just not too sure how the GM computer will react......TM ????? ) A denser charge would mean more power but maybe more TM ?. I haven't a clue
With regard to TM you might run your idea by Boosted Z06. (see TM thread)

Good luck

I've even hit 1.88 - 1.90 in stock trim in my A6.

Yes, 11.2-11.4 I agree. For evey tenth off in teh 60' that accounts for 2 tenths in the 1/4.

2.0 sixty, 12 second ET, and 123 mph trap. I bet you fool some guys when you clip them at the end of the track, LOL.

That is why I hope the N20 will help until HP completes the tune for Tq Mgt.

I have beat so many guys because they let off at the end of the track not thinking I am going to catch them, LOL. The top end and slow start of the C6 makes for some great finishes in bracket racing.

Actually, through exhaustive research...Lol.., On my own car, and I have a couple of hundred slips, its right at 1.5 tenths in the quarter for every 1 tenth in 60 foot.
