Street is easy not real competition or rules. Race where the competition is at the track. Sure the odds are more likely to hit a squirrel but the consequences are not the same. Guess low odds like Lotto but when you hit it's big.
John, give it up. This is a lost cause.
There are many idiots that race on the street, but very few are dumb enough to brag about it on a public forum.
Did you know we already have a West Coast Corvette Challenge that goes to Fontana? This year's was cancelled because of the construction but we should be back next year. The series races mostly at LACR but does travel a little including a trip to The Strip in Vegas. Check out www.corvette-challenge.com
Redgar - We didn't have any scheduled at Fontana this season...they were at Famoso outside of Bakersfield.
The last time, and only time, the WCCC raced at Fontana was back in 2003. We will be looking into Fontana for the 2007 season though, since our home track of LACR will be shutting down by mid 2007.
We will be posting the 2007 WCCC schedule on our web site as it becomes available. WCCC web site link

Try to save evryone some grief. There have been some really bad and fatal accidents on Long Island the last 4-5 years. Some are dead and some are sitting in jail for a long time. I do understand they need to have tracks for people to race at somewhat close to home. On LI they have closed all the tracks and the nearest one is E-town which is a 4-6 hour ride. Like giving people guns and ammo then saying just load it and look at it. Big population here and nowhere for people to race so they take it to the streets/.
