Default Supercharged 402 Stroker

I am seriously thinking of installing a supercharged 402 stroker in my 05 vette. I have a prochrger already on the stock moter with headers and it dyno's at 511 rwhp and 450 torque. Does anyone else have a supercharged 402 stroker? Thnanks.

Why not spend the money on an APS twin turbo set-up? You could do forged internals and run higher boost. You could make the same hp/tq as 402 and Procharger. Not sure if you have had belt shredding/slipping issues with your current set-up, but I know others who have. I was wondering if Andy @ A&A was going to fabricate a new bracket for the C6 like he did for the C5...no luck though yet.

Big Bollas put down 699rwhp stock block, D-1, R1 cam, headers, meth and tune. Don't waste your money, take to someone who knows what they are doing.

While it is possible to make more power then you already have with the stock short block, going with a larger CI engine is another nice way to go. The 402 can make 700 RWHP but I would go all the way to 427. Not only will you make more power, but you will also be raising the value and 427 just sound way . The only difference in cost is the block, the crank and rods are the same, and larger pistons don't really cost any more. Either way do your home work and have fun.

Well said....probably "the most" important decision you make.

Several good tuners out there; just do your homework.

Do a search for posts from member C6dude.
If memory is correct he is around 720 rwhp with a procharger (~14 psi) on a 402 stroker.
