Is there a manual for the Bose system that perhaps I didn't get with the car. The owners manual does not explain the Auto EQ settings in the system or how to adjust the custom setting.

No manual. The HU is not made by Bose (only the amps and speakers are Bose). The EQ settings are very "subtle" at best. I tweak each FM channal manually using the "sound" 3 band equalizer then set each station with its own eq settings.

Unless you tweak each source (am, fm, cd, etc.) and each station (99.1, 107.5, etc.) or other imput, you do not get good, half way decent sound. I boost hi's and mids full amount and the lows (bass) partially. It helps quite a bit but it doesn't come close to my high end equipment. For what we pay for that poor system, you would think GM would give us something for $57K package on wheels! Ain't no sound bargain!
