yeah and the C6 looks alot like everything else on the road alot of *** inseration went into the C6

do you think C4 owners are beneth you because they own "yesterday's car"
what about C3s or C2s C1's almost all of those cars are worth more than your car was the second you drove it off the lot and they are sweet rides where your just another cookie cutter C6 there are a bunch of them on base here
I know you dont know **** about other vettes... ZR1...10 years ago? I think you need to pay attention there are still ZR1s selling for more than your C6
I like the discounts the dealers are handing out these days on your latests and greatest car makes me laugh if its not a Z06 it has to be given away
face it your still second best even in todays car because yours isnt the car of today the Z06 is the poo these days

This is probably the best thing to do to get a feel for real handling improvements.
From personal experience, I've owned a '93 vette manual that I autocrossed regularly at a fairly large course in Ft. Meyers, FL. The car had a mild performance alignment & the best performance street tires I could find at any given time (the car was my daily driver).
I was able to consistantly run within a given time of the front runners (trailered cars with DOT legal race rubber).
I've had my 07 Z51 manual for a couple of months now & have not yet had out for a race, however, it feels faster in both the corners & on the straight, for what that's worth.
The true test will be in Jan when I get it on the track & see if I can get closer to the front runners. This will be a good test since it'll be the same driver with different cars.
