track use?

track use?
first post here..
anyway I have a few friends that track their cars and everytime they come back from a track event (road course) I hear about how another corvette blew up. has anyone heard about this? i am going out today to see if the guy that blew up his z06 is still out and find out whats going on but i'd like to know what is happening and if its only on z06 models or C6 models.. i have a 2007 c6 and i was really looking foward to taking this car on the track and now i find out they are blowing up all the time I dont know if this car is going to be as fun anymore.
I've counted well over 5 blown up corvettes at TWS since fall.
and most of em i think are z06's

Please dont get to worried. Your questions and concerns can be answered over under the General Corvette - Autocross and Roadrace forum. Most of the Racers AuotX and general track guys hang out there.
Tracking you car will be the most fun you can do with your cloths on.

No. I attended a HSDE at Road America this past Oct. 2 days on a 4.2 mile track (one of the fastest in America)
There wasn't a single Corvette that had issues. Who is telling you this BS?
BTW I drove my 06 Z51 425 from Southern Illinois to Elkhart Lake Wis, tracked my car for 2 days (42 laps/175 miles) and drove it home. All w/o a hic up. Oh and I got 29 MPG on thw way home too.

welll i just got back from TWS and i found out why some of them blew up and now i'm relived that its not a problem that happens to all the vettes. I met a few guys out today I was in the white C6
