Got a friend with the same mods in and 06 auto, except he has Corsa sports and no fast. He will pull me a car out of the hole, and I get to put two more on him by 120. He loves his auto, but wants a Fast. Yes he had his car dynoed by the same gentleman. He made 37?/37?

Any thoughts on the L76 GM perf. intake (pn 12590123) as an alternative ? I just read an article on it and the new GM perf. heads (pn 12582713). Both sounded as though they performed well and I like the idea of it being a factory performance part. Article made no mention of firewall modification either.

Perhaps another lesson of "don't believe everything you read" ? and could be a moot point as I don't think the intake is available yet ?

I made 407/411 SAE corrected 399/402 in the pooring rain. Now if your not a believer of the fast you should be now. I know plenty of people with my mods, except they dont have the Fast. These people don't even come close to the same power gains. Ed Wright is pretty good with a dyno tune though. No leaks, but I did mod the firewall.
The fast 90 seems the only link to such high gains. The headers and intake will give you 382 or close. There is the extra 20

The throttle body will bolt on, but we usually cut the lip off of the fast intake for cosmetic reasons.

The lower section of the cowl, which in closes the wiper assembly, needs to be cut to clear the back of the intake manifold.

The map sensor wiring needs to be extended. The LS2 intake locates the map sensor at the front where the Fast is located at the back.

We port the intakes all the time, and haven’t seen any problems with leaks.

The Fast will be have a significant gain over stock. We have seen as much as 30 RWHP on larger displacement engines and is well worth the trouble.

Good luck with your project, you should be very happy with the power gain.
I'm considering on doing the FAST install myself. Does anyone have a DIY, step by step instructions on doing this install and cutting of the firewall, etc?

You should look into getting the firewall kit. I got mine from LPE. It was under $100 and well worth it. It saves alot of time and headaches. In fact, I got it and the pre-cut shroud as well.

Everyone without it loves to diminish the gains and everyone with it says the difference especially in the midband is amazing. I'm with the later group. Buy some RTV sensor safe silicone and re-seal it if you're paranoid. I put in 7 of them to date without leaks.
