I just cant believe that theres really a BIG difference in having headers with bullets than without...
When I put on my headers, high-flow cats, and x-pipe, the stock mufflers didn't sound that much louder. Oh well, I guess I'll be finding out real soon.

I have the Bullets with Kooks long tube headers, High Flow Cats and X-pipe, cam, tune, etc.,etc.......They sound fantastic outside the car, but the drone is Bad! Bad! Bad! I'm removing mine after just 100 miles. I'm replacing them with the GHL system that is still very loud but has a higher pitch with much less drone.

im suprised no one has tried the the complete B&B setup.. triflow headers with Bullet PRT. This is a catless setup, but im assuming the BB headers match the rest of their pieces in the quality department.. meaning these headers will give you an amazing fit and finish on your car, you then have the center PRT section which is built to reduce drone.. I have the bullets on my car now, PRT waiting to go on and I dont think the bullets are too loud at all.. just drone a little.. with the PRT I bet it will be too quiet. The only downside here is that you wont be running any cats.

It seems the resonantion on via the catted xpipes is what is killing everyone!

What worse.. smell or drone?

My last car was catless.. I wonder in comparison how much smellier the vette would be over a 380bhp 2.0 liter.

See my video below - they are loud. At full throttle, it is insane.

I have bullets on my C6 and absolutely love em. I have a set of American Racing headers just waiting for me to put them in. I can't wait to hear my baby roar!!!

I have the Bullet PRT. I plan on adding B&B headers later this year. Doing one thing at a time. I think Bullet with long tube headers is too loud. Probably would get a ticket for excessive noise with complaints from neighbors although it does sound good. The PRT quiets it down at WOT but is louder than stock at idle with good muscle car sound. All very subjective.

From what I can tell there is very little difference in sound level between Bullets with and without headers. Am I right?

Thanks,
Tom
