C-6 shifter
I'm not satisfied with my manual six(6) speed shifter.
If I put in a B&M shifter with the skip shift eliminator would that void the warranty on my gear?

Not unless your service writer likes pissing off customers.
Don't even sweat it.

It was the dealer who suggested the skip shift eliminator to me. The B&M shifter is actually much better quality construction than the stamped stock unit. I have one. Nice upgrade.

How does the B&M compare to the Hurst's or Callaway's shifter? Is one better than the other?

The Hurst is more aggresive and noisy. Don't know about the Callaway. Everyone that has posted here that has bought Callaway seems to love it.

The B&M is awesome. Corvettes of Houston has it for only $174.95. You can also have the CAGS removed electronically if you get the car tuned.

The B&M is a quality shifter for the price (much less than the Hurst and Callaway shifters). Easy install, smart upgrade for the money, IMHO.

My dealer installed my CAGS eliminator at the same time they did the free oil change. Do not worry about problems with that mod.
