Default Tornado Fuel Saver

I was reading in the March Corvette Fever about a product called Tornado Fuel Saver. Has anyone else heard of this product or installed one in your corvette? It is supposed to increase gas mileage and HP.

It's been around for years. On some test it has shown lower fuel mileage, I have never heard of it increasing it.

Junk accessories. Put it this way, with all the power behind the GM engineering, if it was that easy and cheap to increase mileage/power, don't you think they would've put it on from the factory?

Not trying to be an a$$ but if we were worried about fuel mileage we would have bought a HONDA......If it increases HP then lets talk.

They guarantee a 20% increase in gas mileage. So I put 6 of them on and now I have to pull a gasoline tanker behind me because gas keeps pouring out of my tank!

I have one on my 2001 4runner and on my 1991 560SEC and they work. I really noticed it on my 4runner with the motor running more smoothly and better gas mileage and accelleration. I may try one on my 2006 z51 Vette but admit it may not do that much but can't hurt to try. I Put K&N air filters in it and it runs more smoothly why not try it.

Hmmmmmmm........ lets see.......we talk about P&P TB, intake and heads to get more power by smoothing out air flow, but put this piece of metal in the way of the air flow and it will help..............hmmmmmmmmmmm. Yep, sounds good to me!

I read last year a vette owner had one and he got better gas mileage which I found funny because I know a tuner that tried one and the rwhp dropped with it installed.
