Default SLP Headers

Does anyone have any direct experience with SLP headers? I'm interested in performance results gained, fit, finish etc. They are being recommended to me by a local Chevy dealer speed shop, Tom Henry Racing. Thanks for any info.

SLP headers are good ones, think about LG's or american racing headers.

Don't know about their Corvette products, but their F-Body headers do not have a good rep, and neither does their customer service in general. I know several local shops & tuners who used to carry their merchandise, but dropped them because of various problems.

No offense Dashti, but SLP headers are the worst. I've been dealing with American Racing Headers , they have proven to make the most Hp gains, best customer service, and they install the easiest out of all that I have dealt with for any type of car.

Are they CARB approved? I'm sure their not as I don't think any are.

None of the long tube headers will have CARB #s. The only "legal" headers to use in CA is shorties.

I don't think any are CARB approved. Callaway said they haven't even started the process yet. They say they will be approved by the time California owners need their first smog check.
