It would be a complete waste of time/money. With the cost of labor involved, the price of the cam is negligable. Go bigger, please do not open up a perfectly good motor and lose your warranty for minimal results.
For a nice smooth idle and of course smog. I haved a 2006 LS7 cam that was taken out of a car with 1200 miles. If anyone is interested in it you can just PM me.
LS7 might work on par as the CHEATR or LPE GT-11...like to see someone do it in L92/76 combo on LS2
when compared and remembering that the actual lift of the ls7 is more than just comparing the cam lift numbers(since it has 1.8 rockers instead of 1.7), the adjustment is very close to both of those cams if switching to 1.8 rockers. would be interesting to see a curve with a 120 lsa. it might be pushed too far and the redline needing to be adjusted on the ls2 to get max power.
