I had the same. My installer got on the horn w/ Melrose and R/T (cats) and they agreed to ship a shorter wiring harness that eliminated the codes. The original harness was much longer and had to be coiled to fit up in the cubby hole. No probs after that...

American racing headers installed today, CEL on the drive home. Gonna get a tune in a couple weeks.

just an update I had my long tubes installed a couple weeks ago. 300+ miles driven and no light yet

I have B&B long tube headers with x pipe, hi flow cats, and catback. No codes without a tune but I got them eliminated in my tune anyway. Word on the street says that you should get a tune with headers to maximize your HP.
