Default autocrossing Questions

I tired searching but could not find what I was looking for. I am trying to get info about what kind of setup all of the autocrossers are using.

It seems that cat back dont do much for the C6 on the dyno but what about weight savings?

Has anyone found cheap lighweight track rims?
What tires are you autocrossers using?
Has anyone got into testing different front sway bars?
Has anyone tried differet shocks, or is anyone valving shocks for solo?

I won the local superstock class last year running my Z51 in bone stock configuration.

If you want to run stock... look into pfadt poly sway bar bushings, some hoosiers, and upgrade your shocks, then have the suspension set up properly.. personally I think running SS is boring, winning in stock form to me isnt as fun as getting out there with a sick sounding car and let it rip.

This may be a great place to ask the question, but for a multitude of answers, go back to the the front page of CF. There, if you page down, you'll see an entire forum of autocrossing/racing. I suspect you'll get every answer across the spectrum to your question.

What is your budget?
Best bet is stock until you figure out what YOU need.

Poly bushings are not allowed in SCCA stock autocross classes, are they?
