Nut Size

Anyone know the size of the rear nut that holds the rear bearing hub on?

Looks like maybe 1 1/2 inch??

Believe you mean the rear axle nut. I use a 34mm deep well socket on mine. Some say 33mm is a better fit. Torque spec is 118 foot-pounds.

The axle nuts tend to get loose and need periodic checking.

I've used Lockite Blue on my axle nuts and, since applying it, mine have remained at proper torque values thru two track rentals and numerous passes down the 1320'.

Loose is an understatement.

I was track prepping my car this eve and saw the pass side almost backed off, and the drivers side could be turned easily.

Both torqued up.

Scary stuff
