Good point. I always check mine the old fashioned way. I get 14 to 15 around town in traffic and about 28 or 29 on the hwy.

I'm getting about 17.5 mpg around town in my 06 A6 coupe. Not exactly stop-n-go traffic, but we do have traffic lights and/or stop signs about every 5-6 blocks.
After a limited amount of testing, I did discover that I get SLIGHTLY better gas mileage in "S" (without using the paddles) than in "D."
