It's too bad that this turned into a pi$$ing match. But I'll defend JaminJ, he has every right to be upset. I think anyone on this forum would be upset if they bought a product from the shop, the shop installed it, it leaked, and then the shop would not fix it for free. It's just called poor customer support. I do feel sorry for the shop, but it's the cost of doing good business. The next time they should NOT buy from that vendor.

The only way I'd be happy is if the Shop now refunds JaminJ what he spent to fix the leak. That's what the Internet is all about. The word now gets around so fast that Shops HAVE to treat customers more fairly or risk going out of business.

Thank you glennhl, actually I would be happy to have the money donated to a charity at this point.

Wake Champ and the rest of the boys at XMS just don't get it, they keep trying to go personal, its not personal.

Wake Champ, made the offer, then when I called him on it, no not that charity....bla, bla, bla.....

So I put it to him, the charity of your choice(something to help the poor), Wake Champ, put up or shut up........

You may post your donation confirmation here or PM me with the confirmation and I will gladly acknowledge.

Now Wake Champ sends me love letters via PM's.

His commitment is like the XMS warranty.

Have a great weekend glennhl see you soon.

JaminJ,
No problem. Some people do not like free speech. Heck, some people are so bad they send you PM's asking you not to "chime in!"

WAKE WHATEVER: Nice PM!

Thanks,
Glenn

Glennhl,

Yup I've been receiving Love letters(PM'S) from Wake Chump.

There have been implied threats but if there like the warranties at XMS, they are nothing.

Now if they @ XMS where Wake Champ is affiliated would just mosey on down and make a charitable donation of $300

to a "viable charity for the poor here in PHX"......we would be able to move on......

The boys committed then they balked, a pattern continues........

See you at the track when the temps drop alittle.

Jay

I would love the boys at XMS to read todays paper;

Sunday, September 3, 2007,Arizona Republic, Business section, page D-2

The United Feature Syndicated article by : Harvey Mackey

Keep your customers No.1 and they will make you No.1

Mackay's Moral: Take care of your customers, or someone else will.

There are numerous great charitys for the poor here in Phoenix, post up the confirmation. This is a win, win for the charities.

However, I've developed a special interest in Wake Champ, who I believe ='s xtreme, particarly since his implied threats.

So Wake Champ, I say, lets see your checkbook keep up with your lips, the rules are simple donate the $2-300 to a viable non profit charity, that benefits the poor, since Saint Marys Food Bank did not meet your critera???What because they don't have pole dancing, now thats a funny.

Have a great day and remember, Cavet emptor

Jay

Please note: I will post here also if there is a rip off as noted above.

I have no affiliation with any particlar shop in state or in the country for that matter, and you know that!

This is just your way of trying to cause a distraction, plain and simple.

I would go as far as saying, we should setup cruises to California to have work done, Dyno weekends..chillin by the sea.

I will acknowlege I did not receive PM under the moniker:don.donc

Regarding the dollars, going to charity it is a good thing right, you don't have a issue with charities do you?

Its a simple remedy, pilgram pony up to a non profit charity in Phoenix that benefits the poor. Post up or PM the confirmation, no you can not fabricate your own confirmation, must be the charities confirmation.

Jay

i seriously doubt you would say anything if you get rip off by azps, oh wait, you won't because you have ownership. if i was one of these guys that offer $200 to shut you up, and you still are running your month i would have hold on to my money, know there is no way you would shut up and be done with it.

are you capable of shutting your mouth? let me put it this way, shut your hole. you have post over 20+ in this thread about the same thing over and over and over and over.....get a life, move on, now show these guys that offered you money to make you whole again, that you are able to do upheld your end is to shut up and be done with it......which i seriously doubt that you can do or has any honor in doing.

Dear Sir,

Offers are like the the warranty issue.........do you see a confirmation? No...
(I have asked, for the $$ it go to a charity)

BTW: Wake Champ, thank you for your pm.

Thank you for your acknowledgement about me being 100% right with my beef.

However, I have not been personal about anyone at that shop except one person, the owner and he does represent the company, and I only commented on his customer service skills.

I have been attacked personally repeatedly and relentlessly why? What is your affiliation with Xtreme.

Again with the red herring, that would mean distraction to you.

You know I'm not affiliated with anyone in the automotive industry, you know.

I'm hoping if you read your statements and my responses enough they will sink in.

If I'm typing to fast for you to understand, I ___ will ___ slow ___ down ,

you will notice xtreme will not confirm to a charity as outlined, get the point.

Wow, I was just told about this thread. I am one of the owners this is the first that i have heard about it and I was surprised at the result so far. In this instance I would have not charged for the seal and done something for the labor time. I would like to be able to look into this issue for you though Jay so if you have an invoice number or a date or something you can PM me and I can check into it and I will not post anything in the public forum. Again I am sorry if there was some sort of misunderstanding but Dave is only here about 15 hours a month MAX and even when he is here he doesn’t take orders or deal with customers.

So again please let me know if there is something I can do to help rectify this matter. You can check with more recent customers as well we do take care of everyone who comes through the door.

Thanks
Darrell

Darrell,

jason has been aware of this thread since last week when I asked him to clarify the warranty policies @ xms, written, stated or implied.

I gave him details of the sitituation and he could not be clear with the warranty policy.

At that point several members of C.F. started with the personal attacks on me, hence the life of this thread.

In addition there were feeble offers of $$$ from several members and to make the situtation a win, win I said donate the money to a charity for the poor in Phoenix, needless to say no donations to the poor. (I clarified pole dancing did not qualify)

I sold my C-5 and the papers went with the car.

Darrell, as I said in an earlier post, I have no issues with you or Jason personally. The issue is with the way I was treated by dave and his customer service skills. Please let me know when dave is 100% divested as owner of XMS as he is still the company, and I will consider giving you a try.

Jay W.

If you want good work done on your vette check out AZ Automasters... You'll find great reviews on the different vette forums, and their quality of work speaks for itself....

End of story!
