Default Need Jacking tips

I haven't bought jacking pucks yet. Is there a correct "BMW" type to use? Also, I notice some have used a steel bar placed on jackstands, across the front or rear. Where is the proper support point for this?

Do a search on "alternate jack positions"

I dont like the pucks, have them, but they will distort the frame if the weight isn't distributed properly. I really think they are only good for lifts...

i just slide the floor jack under the midile in the back and lift both wheels off. same for the front, but i have to put a little bottle jack their to get it high enough to clear the front rubber to get under the frame
