We will show modified fast pics before and after install. It will be painted gloss black and ported. Dyno numbers will be posted also. Before numbers, 413rwhp/377rwtq with 4.10 gearing.. See sig for other mods..
And you missed nature night and the party at the boss's house that rendered certain vette owners incapable of driving home.....or rememering how I drove it home for him that night.
I just faked all that so you'd feel like you had to drive. I knew that you wouldn't ask.
The FAST intake manifold sounds like a really good option. Does anybody have pictures of the modifications required to install without cutting the firewall and relocating the MAF?
Spinmonster,
I'm not trying to copy your ideas, I was just curious about the quality of work. Don't take this the wrong way, but hacking on a composite intake is not a DIY project that Average Joe should tackle. Wiring, bolting, cutting, etc - Yes. Heck, I don't even float sheetrock.
I would seriously consider a manifold that requires no hacking. If I could really figure out if there are any drawbacks to using the L76/L92 combo, I'd probably go that way instead. Way too many options and opinions for me to sort through in my spare time right now.

I have the L92/L76 and have posted all you need to know on it for use with a C6.

I was in spins car once when he took me for ride..I had to check into the chiropracter the next day for some adjustment in the neck area..
I sent a message to info@hydrographicsinc.com and they estimated $230.00 per unit and 5 business days for turnaround. Marty is the name of the guy I received an email from. His Phone # is 503-538-9837. It's too late for me since my FAST is sitting in the shop to be installed. I thought I would post this for anyone else interested. I have seen many folks avoid the FAST just due to looks. I would say, this would solve that issue!
That's a pretty cool looking FAST. I expect someone could turn some fast bucks if they offered an exchange program!

I have nothing to sell and have no reason to convince anyone of the quality of my work. No one I did them for has ever had a check engine light or poor performance. I also do this for free so its better most dont think I know what I am doing as far as modding; less work for me.
Ive had the honor of working closely with SpinMonster...calling him an "Average Joe" is like calling Carrol Shelby a shade tree mechanic. But he's right, the less that people take him up on his offer will give him more time to do my FAST....

SpinMonster is not Average Joe. He can install your cam, heads, headers, clutch, shocks, etcetera and tune your car to play Mozart while setting speed and gas mileage records. I have worked with SpinMonster, too. It was like watching a master at work. He took care to do everything correctly, in the correct order and with the utmost in patience. When he finished the results were...well, perfect.
Spin will soon be porting my FAST, which he installed.
Cameron, it has a huge crack in the middle of the bottom panel. Just yankin ya man! I started working and its comming along. Looks pretty especially after alcohol. I dont drink so that was a lie. I felt a lot more nervous cutting the back of this thing than I do cutting firewalls....go figure.
A new thread will be started that will not be for opinions but rather for those that want to see how to do this mod ( a tech thread! ). I asked for opinions here since Cameron and I were wondering what it would be worth to have all this work done. I am not charging him for it but we were just curious what some would think it was worth. But that was the topic in this thread so keep those comments here please.
These mods are really easy as I have seen since all the major work is done. I will show pictures of where the new map location is and pictures of what has turned out to be is simplest mod to the back you could wish for. I didnt want to do this mod myself since I felt selling the FAST would be harder with it "hacked" as so many refer to it when Lingenfelter or LG or Cartek...ect doenst do it.
Feel free to post any questions. There arent any trade secrets here.
I'm sharing.

I already had that done when I did the cam swap, so not at this time. After the Fast install I will probably get one done.
