Brake bleeding question
What we have done when something like this has happend, and be very careful here, putt it all back together, put brake fluid in and bleed the calipers as much as possible. Put the wheels back on and go for a very very slow drive. YOur brake peddle will go to the floor and almost not work. This opens up your abs modules on each caliper.
Put the car back into your garage and back on four jack stands, rebleed the calipers, Dont use a Mini vac or speed bleeders. You need a Tech II or a Motive power bleeder to OPEN THE ABS on each caliper. Run another qt or brake fluid though the lines and calipers. Pump the brake peddle a few times after each caliper has been bleed.
Then take the car out again, very easily and put the brakes on and feel that brake peddle. Is it firm? is there little peddle travel? if so your good to go.. If Note Bleed the brakes again.
* Speed Bleeders and Mini-Vacs do not open the ABS modules in the calipers and really should not be used on cars with ABS brake systems.
Good Luck
