voiding warranty?

Is it true that if you stay above 6000 rpm s for more then 5 seconds, you lost your warranty? No.
And what else can void it? Some mods, racing, abuse, lack of maintenance, burn outs like in your avatar (just kidding), etc.

Why would running the engine abouve 6000 rpm void the warrenty? The LS2's have been run at 6500 rpm for a contineous 300 hours during powertrain evalualations at GM, so 5 seconds would be a heartbeat for this engine.
