Default Is this the correct part number

The posts on replacing the axle nuts on the REAR of the car suggest the part number is 10257766.

However this is the description of the part:

Front suspension - Brake components - Rotor - Nut Nut Back 2004 - 2005

Note the year. Is this the right part number for replacing the axle nuts?

NOTE that the new torque spec may not actually reflect a change in how tight they want the nuts. Because they now want you to use locktite, the lubricant effect when tightening changes the correct torque value. I would guess that the major difference is now they want you to use locktite.

Checked axle nuts this weekend on my 06, left rear had about 20ft/lbs, right rear had about 45ft/lbs. Loctited both to 140ft/lbs. After this I still have clunking noise from my differential when first driving the car after sitting for a week. I don't know if this should be a concern as my driveway immediately turns as soon as I get under way, after that nothing, is this normal? Is the differential in the Vette really what we use to call Positraction(boy am I dating myself)?

Saw the text of the tsb on the first page, but does anyone have the official full tsb scanned to look at? I plan on doing this tomorrow as I have the "scraping noise" they describe in the tsb. I already tightened them a month or so back because they were loose, and tightened to 118 (this was before I saw the 140 recommended by the plant). I haven't checked them again yet, but plan to do so tomorrow.

I figure I might as well just get the new nuts and locktite and take care of it for good. Just to make sure I am doing it right, there is no need to lift the wheels off of the ground - correct? I didn't the first time I tightened them, I just want to be sure. Thanks!

Technical Service Bulletin

Subject: Tapping or Scraping Noise From Rear Wheel Area (Replace Wheel Drive Shaft Nut) #07-04-95-001 - (09/26/2007)

Models: 2005-2008 Chevrolet Corvette

Condition
Some customers may comment on a tapping or a scraping noise coming from the rear wheel area.

Cause
This condition may be due to the torque on the wheel drive shaft nut relaxing over time.

Correction
Replace the left and the right wheel drive shaft nut following the procedure below.

Remove the center cap from the rim.
Remove and discard the wheel drive shaft nut.
Apply LOCTITE™ 272, or equivalent, to the threads of the axle shaft.
Install the nut and tighten to the new specification.
Tighten
Tighten the nut to 215 N·m (160 lb ft).

Install the center cap to the rim.
Good info I am going to the dealer, this thursday, since I have been getting that tapping noise driver side rear.
