I am considering having Callaway install a stage one Supercharger pkg (supercharger pipes etc ) does anyone have pro/cons on this? Any direct experience dealing with Callaway?
I will also have a Corsa 4 tip with cross over for sale as well should I move with Callaway.

I'm not a fan of the look of Callaway's exhaust. If you do go with them, see if they can put a quad "D" exhaust on.
I agree in fact if I have one issue is Callaway removing my Corsa exhaust system for there own dual "D" tips I think the Corsa looks much better, however sound wise I am not sure. . I'll ask about a quad tip set.
West Coast Corvettes gave me a bid as did RK performance, WCC could not tell me why 3,500.00 installation fee, and RK wanted 100% up front?

Don't know nuthin about RK performance - there was a thread on here recently with a link to a GTO forum thread that involved money up front, a major sh!tstorm of mud-slinging - and a very unhappy customer... and probably a shop owner who is in a safehouse somewhere.
I personally wouldn't give my grandmother 100% up front (she's a lousy mechanic, though.)
Good luck with the kit. Callaway is quality stuff.
I own a Callaway C4 I am looking now to go with the C6 with a Callaway Package. They have always stood behind their work and did a TOP QUALITY job whenever working on my car. They did custom work for me also. Nothing but good things to say about them.
In this case TOP QUALITY is 8K more than everyone else. So the question was is Callaway 8K better ? I am sure there are many places that do great work ? On the other hand if I can get a better return because it was installed by Callaway than I guess I just ansewered my own question.

WOW, thats a big difference. Is the equipment apples to apples?
Callaway is not worth it in my opinion for just a supercharger package...that price is crazy. You could probably find someone more local that has a lot of experience working on corvettes that could do it for a fraction of the cost.
a Callaway documented car would be nice. They now have a facility in So Calif BTW. Also they are working on dealership suport so you warranty is still valid.

that you could get a SC package cheaper, but doubt anybody will give the 3year/36,000 mile warranty that Callaway provides. They also have authorized dealers for their SC and they provide the tune. I think they shoul carry the same warranty, but not sure. Check their site.
so are you saying that a Callaway Documeneted car is worth more than if someone else were to do the install. 8K more? I met with them last Sunday and drove their demo a rush alright. Now suck it up and pay it or go else where and buy more toys with what I saved. Or did I save anything?
a Callaway documented car will have a better resale than the local speed shop install. Combine this with the warranty and you get what you pay for. If on the otherhand, you really drive the car, one could save the $ and understand that the $ saved can be a "slush" fund for any future repairs. Also Callaway will not fully document a car unless it meets their criteria. So check out what that is. Usually the car has to be new or very close to being new. ALSO Callaway will install the S/c with a warranty without documentation for less $. Last time I checked it was something like $10.5 but you dont get the mats, the badging, the FRCs, and of course the docs. If I had the $ and a s/c was what I wanted then Callaway or LPE would get the nod.
