With the relocated O2 sensors on long tubes, the coating helps to prevent the throwing of codes. I have coated headers and never have thrown a code .... only those without the coating have I heard have the code issue (code can be erased of course and doesn't affect engine ... but was nice not to have to deal with it)
At $300 - to me it's a no brainer.
