Default Another tinting question

For the C6 coupe with NAV, where is the NAV antenna located?

I've heard that metallic based tint can block the signal, but I'd prefer metallic as I'm told that ceramic or other tints that contain dye and can blemish over time.

Thanks,
Dan

it's not with the OnStar antenna on the windshield... I have NAV but no OnStar on my 2006, and there's no windshield box.

On other GM cars, the NAV antenna is just under the dashpad... don't know if its the same on the 2006-2008 C6 (I know on the 2005, its a little black bump on the top of the car)

The nav antenna is in the center of the dashboard. I have metallic tint on my 05 with Nav and have never had any signal issues at all. The windows have been tinted for a year now as well. Hope this helps. I am using 35% all the way around with no tinitng on the windshield at all.

Default On Star Antenna

I just bought a 2007 and it came with a information DVD. The DVD says the antennas are built into the mirror. I'm not betting on it though!

The antennae that are in the mirrors are for XM.

I have 07 with heads up and nav setup. I had all windows tinted and the WHOLE windshield tinted and havent had any problems with my signal. I dont know where the antenna is for my car but no issues at all.
