unless you have aftermarket rims i doubt it. look how much space it takes up inside of a 19in front rim.

My friend just bought a new F430 ferrari and the carbon brake upgrade for his was a $18,000 option. obviously it wouldnt be that much for the vette being as how its only 100,000 car. but i think it would be safe to say that brake kit would be 5k+ easily.

the hood is nice i think it would fit my maggie perfect to show it off but i would much rather have the carbon roof on the Zr1 that is sweetlooking!

No offense but I'm beginning to realize that Ferrari could probably put curb feelers, 24" rims and a pink polka dotted interior on/in their cars and people would still think it's absolutely stunning or pure art simply because it's a Ferrari LOL.
Why is it that the second GM/Chevrolet mimics on their own cars the same exact elements that many consider to be beautiful on other cars, it gets ridiculed?

That's what great about America, we can all like something different!

I do like the roof, splitter and spoiler. I just think that the "window hood" turns the car into a garage queen.

I have seen some clear Lexon hoods. In short time they look like garbage. Heat colors the Lexon blue, Lexon is strong but scratches very quickly. Have to use a special Lexon cleaner and new micro fiber rag to clean it.

I'm sure PepBoys will be selling a kit soon. In my opinion the GM engineers really screwed up here. Its not like a Ferrari where you can see the entire beautiful powerplant.

The material is a polycarbonate better known as Lexan. The one that
will probably be used on the ZR1 is a high amp, hgh temp material. Its
almost the same materials as most headlights. Its durable to say the
least. We actually make the materials. Its not the stuff you see at
Lowes or HomeDepot although it my look the same. There is a lot of it
in your current Vette.

I have been tryn to do a polycarb style cover for my blower install and it's not realy that easy. But i think if the ZR1 has the option I would get it.
