I should be working on work rather that reading about what should be done or not with regard to this list. This item was resolved prior to Chris posting his time on the list.
I try to resolve any problems by e-mail as not to bother the moderators. It keeps discussions from turning into arguments and keeps the list from getting locked.
Unfortunately, I can not edit the rules page. I have submitted revisions in December and once I can change the rules page I can make the necessary changes.
Now lets stop the unnecessary discussions and get back to racin

Thanks, I am going to delete my posts now since the time Chris
posted his slip and highly suggest others do the same as to not clutter this list. Just go back to your posts, hit edit, then delete and then select "delete message". When we are back to around page 191, I'll delete this too one too.
If not threatened by the LS3 because you're on the top of the list, why feel threatened by an LS7. It can't be because of the displacment, because there's other out there with larger displacment motors you didn't worry about.
duh, isnt it a 100 more hp! why dont you take a bolt/on LS2 and compete against him, and i guess it was put were i said it would be, and subfloor already knew were it was going

Good suggestion, I'm going to do the same.
Hoping that others will follow as well, this thread just had roughly an extra 4-5 pages of unnecessary postings tacked on to it and that just makes it more difficult to maintain so please, let's clean it up a little.
I'm even going to delete this post eventually.
Folks are ALWAYS gonna whine about times...........real or unfounded.
All the posters should be minful of the OP rules though.......
Here they are, plain and simple and to the point from page 1:
There will be no arguments only discussion! I will have any argumentive posts removed from the thread. If you ignore the forum rules, you will be subject to whatever actions the moderators decide as appropriate.
If you don't like something, take it to PM/E-mail vs. posting in this thread.

OK guys we all have our own opinions, If you wish to dicsuss the aforementioned, please start another thread.
I only post the numbers and as I have stated on page one of this list in the rules section, nothing says that anyone has to believe anything posted in this thread. Any other discussion posts placed in this thread will be deleted. This thread is for the recording of times.
New PB at MIR
I had a great day last Friday at an MIR track day, the weather felt great as far as humidity goes and it was in the mid to high 60's. The track was a little slick in the morning, but was great in the afternoon after they put down some fresh VHT.
Another Forum member Jamie Furman witnessed the run and he also was having a great day, running 3 sub 11 passes in a Stock W/DR's C6 Z06.
I was running Mickey Thompson ET Street Drag Radials which, as always hook pretty good. I just upgraded my entire drivetrain putting 3:90's in along the way.
A recent Dyno run put me at 467rwhp with 417rwtq which was 20rwhp over the last dyno due to putting in 48# injectors and retuning. I was hoping to gain at least .2 with my changes and I netted a .23 so I met my initial goal, even though I really want 10's!!!
MIR Track
3/6/09 Clear with temps in the high 60's
1.65 60'.............
3.697 330'...........
7.200 660'...........
97.43 660’ mph....
9.365 1000'.........
11.167 1320'.........
125.34 1320’ mph…
Here is a log for all you HPTuner guys...

Wanted to update my times on the list. Finally was able to get down to the 1/4. The car is an 08 LS3 A6 2.56. Modes: Mild CAM, 2800 PI, tune, headers. The car still has stock gears, intake/T.B, pulley.

That's some great times! Goes to show you don't need a big gear to run good. That converter is in effect a gear. Had you gotten a 3600 PI you would have been well into the 10s. Way to go!
I suggest we break the records into the LS2s and the LS3s it would be a more accurate method of evaluating driver skill vs the hp factory advantage.
I know it's a lot of work to keep this up as it is but it would be more accurate, the LS3's are just too strong to compare to the LS2's. Maybe they could go in the Larger Displacement category...
