race setup:
as little gas as possible(on this run i was dumb and had a 1/4 tank), kirkey race seat, no passenger seat, 6 pt roll bar, gto spares with bias ply front runners, c5z rear wheels with mt et streets...

car used to weigh 2920 without me...but i added more gas and a roll bar to this run which made the car weigh 2980 without me...like siffert said i weigh about 160-170 depending on my last trip to the toilet...haha...

I am curious though, let's say the LS3 gets an upgrade (such as Direct Injection with a notable horsepower/torque boost) while we're still in the 'C6 era/generation', would that still be included among the LS3 lists?
I know with the current climate at GM that it's somewhat unlikely but if DI will in fact improve fuel economy/CAFE ratings for the various LSx engines then perhaps Presidient Obama might be ok with a fuel efficient factory issue 450hp LS3 (if it would even still be called an LS3 that is).

I suppose that topic/question will have to be discussed further and will likely need to be addressed on a 'as it happens' basis.

 

Do you guys n gal's that smoke the tires have lockers for the front wheels? My girl will burn for a little bit than launch.. I only go to about 3K.. I was told not to do a burn out with radials.

 

i bought a line lock from cartek...works great...i wouldn't try it without one...

 

With the split, I've got a shot at #1. It will take some cooler weather...
