Question, is there any way we can post in the list which brand intake, headers, catback, etc. people are using? It's time consuming to say try and see what the fastest external engine modified LS3's are using by searching for each individual user's posts or viewing their public profile.

 

Listing everyones specific mods, using this format for record-keeping, would make the list get very sloppy.

 

The post number is given for that very reason, while it is a little time consuming for one to have to go back and search the specific post within this thread that gives those particular details it is still the better alternative versus a messy list.
There's got to be a line drawn somewhere or else it could start to get out of hand with people then wanting the car's exterior color, interior color, what the owner ate for breakfast that day etc listed as well.

 

Otherwise, I would have to post those two hambergers & hot dogs you ate .........11.75 something could have been 11.74something (I forgot the actual ET)

Marc please let me know when the track rentals are scheduled, I have to install the fast and then schedule a tune

Ah yes, I knew someone would eventually bring that up, as you have noticed I only record the number of the post. The reason being with html text it becomes a real bear for me to actually read and edit the list

There are two lists one which you see in the thread and another to keep track of everyones place. Once I split the list two lists became a necessity. Then again being really cheap, I have a tiny computer screen. Now if you would like to contribute to Tommy's new 32 inch flat screen fund I am sure I can work something out.

BTW looking up the post number is not that difficult as the post numbers are listed with the pages

On the top of the thread on the right side where it lists page 208 of 208..... slide your mouse over to the right on the page numbers and you will see the post numbers

With some investigation you will see what works with what and why. There is no one way to go fast, there are many combos, some are better than others depending upon your utilization of your Corvette Attendance of Corvette track rentals and the Corvette challenge is also helpful.

When I got my C6 I went around without the car and wore a ford hat to check out the cars.... it was always an ice breaker.

 

Ok Tommy, might be something in September but I'm not sure yet, definitely at least one going to be set up for October/November I'd bet. And I hope to have mine installed soon as well.

Respectable numbers

 

My Corvette a 2005 Z51 MN6 w/ Ported TB, Vararam CAI, LT Headers w/ Magnaflow spun cats, dual cutouts, MGW shifter, ZO6 springs & ZO6 complete wide-booty kit. Wheels are ZO6 repos wrapped in Nitto INVOS 295/35/18 fronts & 345/30/19 rears.

My run was with 20 psi in rears 48 psi in fronts and 1/4 tank of gas. Heated up the tires until they started to smoke then pulled forward. Feathered the clutch/gas and left at 2K.

Irwindale Speedway August 13, 2009. Temperature was around 80-85 degrees w/ about 60% humidity.

Well no new best overall passes last night, but I did manage to hit 92mph in the 1/8 in my car, which pleased me a good bit Also got some 1.8 60's, but the limiter hit on the 2-3 shift and I had to let up...would've been my best run yet

Still hitting about the same 1/4's at 12.17 @ 117 in 2200-2300 DA.

I'm having an issue with the car shifting in "S" and banging the limiter on the 2-3 shift, so all of my runs are in "D", so I might be leaving a little on the table...who knows. I'll have to have the tune checked out.
