Cuts pretty consistant 1.64 60ft...
He kinda explains it like this,he comes out at 4200ish and snatches the clutch?Dont know what he means but the car flat out hauls ***,I think he means he is high on the pedal and lets it fly..He does flat shift it threw all 4 gears....

We just put 3.91's in it last week so we are hoping to see it run high 11.40's next time out...The car was going threw the traps just into 4th with the 3.46's so we know there;s more in the car

The LS7 clutch at this power level is only good for like 3 runs
U need to cool it off after that...

His inj. are at 90% and need to be changed
Once we add heads and port the fast we will go to a 42lber..

I think this car could run high 10's at almost full (3700ish) weight once were done with all the mods (Heads/Ported Fast/Ported TB)

455 on a factory intake with cats doesn't make sense, but hey, if it is then I'm all ears to learn how.
To get a 11.60 in a Goat is a real feat - your friend Tony should be proud! That's awesome.

What was his 60ft? Had to be 1.5x... hard to get in a Goat for sure! What was the launch technique?

That cam,(its mid size) maybe 20-25 rwhp and those headers w/cats maybe 25-30 wrhp. CAI which is on, really doesn't come into play, as it needs some speed before it starts to work. A ported TB might give you 2-3 rwhp, on a very good day. A ported TB usually gives better throttle responce. New mufflers are for sound, thats all.
I think you got an Elf around, who fell outta his wagon.
To get above the 450 rwhp mark, requires a big cam, and AFR or similar heads along with all the other bolt ons. Thats a fact, backed up by alot of posts with dyno numbers. Just seek and search and you will be informed. When it thaws, show us some mid 11's times.

well we all know they are a tad underrated from the factory, But lets even say they are 400.. there is no doubt in my mind that an underdrive pulley, a nice set of headers and a decent size cam and some tuning that you can make 100 more hp..

and in your post you say 20-25 from a cam and 25-30 from headers? you should read up on your knowledge b/c if you think a cam in ANY LSX motor adds 20hp NOONE would do that...

and getting obove 450 USED to require a huge cam...remember 4 years ago when heads cam cars were getting like 420 and everyone thought i was awesome? well now they are hitting over 500...and thats even with an ls1 not an ls2....

What tuning program are you using and any ideas where mine could use adjustment ? AF was at 12.5.and tuning done with EFI live.

I have asked this once and never got a response.

Tom
well its hard to say if anything is wrong with your tune... A/F is only a part of it..

we use HP Tuners for tuning

well the track doesnt open for a few monthes around us. I have no problem paying 75 bucks just to show everyone the car is actually making the power.... its just part of my job... we will get track times as soon as the track opens....

i think that it may have been an ioc dyno, also what was the cf used?

That's why I'm amazed to see this smaller cam do 455/415 without a FAST. Those are very high numbers from what I've seen, particularly the torque number. Very stout results indeed.

Not sure if you're talking to me, mine was an in ground Dynojet with a weather station, SAE conversion, smoothing=5.

I have the .drf files from the run, and with the free Winpep software I can make my numbers look better if I change smoothing or to STD or DIN conversion, but SAE Smoothing 5 is the standard on internet boards and hardest to fool. As the dyno shop has a weather station, I can verify that it was accurate - hot and humid!

Glad to see the car is getting lots of attention whether it be haters or not.

I built this car and stood next to it when we dynod it, believe me any and all info is correct. I cant wait to see what you guys say when we dyno it again and it makes even more.

I'm not a hater - I'm hoping there something I can learn from the tune and can mimic the results!!!
