Anyone do headers with stock exhaust?

I will be doing the ARH either 1/3's or the 1/78 on the stock mufflers next month. I heard a guy with the set up on an 07 and I really liked the way it sounded and he gained about 30 rwhp.

I didn't read the entire thread but...I do know the stock muffler reduces the diameter to 1 3/4 in. I cut out the the stock mufflers and installed some dynomax SS mufflers. They keep the 2.5in dia through the muffler.(everyone went with the magnaflows so I went a different route) I'm running the 1 3/4 American Racing Headers...I took the bullets off because I don't want the attention from the PD.

Actually, the stock exhaust remains 2.5" all the way back to the muffler inlet, but the muffler outlet just in front of the twin tips is 2.0".

I am running the stock mufflers with ARH 1 3/4 headers. The car sounds good when you stomp on it and there is no resonance either.

Exactly, the stock catback exhaust flows pretty darn well. ALOT of people don't seem to realize this.
