Default RaceLogic Traction Control?

Does anyone have experience with the RaceLogic Traction Control system? I'm contemplating installing one on my car. How well do they work? What are the pros and cons of it?

Thank you,
JR

C6Dude was installing it. I have been waiting to hear how it has come along. However, he has been very busy as all get out. You can check some information out at http://dpecorvettes.com/gpage10.html

Works great, however it isnt as fine-tuneable as say a motec or Bosch, as it cuts cylinders. Thats 12.5% reduction in tq, which isnt always necessary, sometimes only a 2-4% reduction in tq is necessary.

Other than me being pickey (1.8 60's in the rain) it works fantastic!

We used them in 05 and 06 in the WC cars with good luck. Car was definitely faster with it than with out it.

Why is it that everytime I buy something, I find out there is something better out there

Hopefully that 12.5% for the one pulse isn't that far off

Expect to spend 30-40K for a properly calibrated Bosch MS 4.3 and wiring harness.

I think 12.5% will be just fine

Bosch Extremely potent, to say the least.

Race logic is ~ 1500 + install, but that price might have changed. Thats 4 years ago.

Ya thats about what I paid.

jogar: i ended up going with the racelogic analog system. They told me the digital is too hard to adjust while your in the car. Analog you just hear a click with each of 7 positions. Each position is fully programmable.

Of course, car is in my trailer in the parking lot right now. Hopefully it will be dry enough tommorow to check it out I am sure it will take days to get working properly though.

Lou-

Do you install them or know who does in Texas? Do you think it's worth it? If it really works, I'd be down for installing one

I am sure lou could install them, since they used them on their cars before Not sure if he has connections to get them or not, there is only one dealer in the us that sells them. You can find their name on their website, or feel free to privatemessage me for info. These systems are mostly used in vipers.

I'm doing the anti-rain dance for the next week in AZ so we can get a report on your new system!
