A friend of mine put bullets on his otherwise stock A6. Sounded good from outside the car, but the drone inside was UNBELIEVABLE. He ordered the PRT section and we installed that. Didnt work that well in my opinion. It muffled the sound outside the car by quite a bit, yet inside the drone was only VERY VERY SLIGHTLY reduced. I dont think it's worth it.

Default BB prt

I have a 07 C6 A6, i installed a BB prt and yes it's loud if you are lugging the engine between 1700-2000 rpm, if you strech it out a little it is not as bad, it will never be as quiet as a stock system, but i was warned that it had an aggresive sound. at cruise speeds you don't hear it. i like it, when my wife is with me i shift it manualy so as to keep the rpm where it won't create the drone. with the windows open it is not noticed.
overall the performance and sound is good, if i had to do it again i would install the fusion so that i could control the sound level.
call Mark at BB and speak to him.
