I've read through a lot of the archives about installing it while retaining the Bose amp but I still have a few questions.
Those that got the turn on/off pops. This was only when using the RCA connectors? It went away if you cut the connectors off the GMCO interface and did a straight splice to the speaker outputs on the D3? Did anyone have the relay installed on the accessory lead to the D3 as indicated on the GMCO instructions? I suspect this would delay the turn on/off of the D3 too possibly solving the pop?
My last question is just verifying that no connection to the remote turn on lead on the D3 necessary since the GMCO uses the data bus to signal the Bose amp to turn on. Is this right? The GMCO I have doesn't have a remote turn on wire so that's why I'm asking.

I installed mine on a bose car; the only difference was that I needed to add ground loop isolators to eliminate the "pop" when I turned it off... Other than that I am very happy with the unit!
do you have a heads up display installed? I heard that the HUD is connected to the factory stereo and it wont work if you change to an aftermarket navigation
