Default Finally Some Traction!

I just picked up a set of Kumho Ecsta SPT's for my car. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! The ride is so much better and I can finally give it some throttle in 1st and 2nd. The GY RF would just light up instantly in 1st and 2nd and sometimes even 3rd. In my opinion you cannot go wrong with a set of these. $860 for a set of 4 installed... not bad at all.

Not to diminish your enthusiasm, but I'd love to see the comments from someone who replaces a set of worn out Michelin or Kumho or whatever with a set of brand new GY Supercar tires.

Actually, I just got rid of an Infiniti M45 that I had replaced the factory Potenza RE 050s with a set of the Kumho Ecsta SPTs on. The car was a lease and I only had a couple of months left on the lease, so I wanted the cheapest tire I could get. I was very happy with the SPTs for those last two months.

Thanks for sharing the info

Excellent point. I replaced a set of worn Supercar F1's on the back of my car with a new set of Supercar F1's and I couldn't believe how much better the traction was! Worn out tires turn to rocks. Any new tire would be a vast improvement. And I also agree, I've run Kumho's on my Camaro and liked them.

When are you going back to the track to beat that 11.7? We need to see one of the LS3 LG cars in the 10's.

Thanks...
