Default Z06 Wing

Does the regular c6 wing light assembly fit in the z06 unit? I was considering switching to the Z's wing if they are the same.

It will fit no problem. I have a Z06 spoiler on my C6.

If you mean the rear spoiler? It's an easy swap.

yes the z06 spolier will fit without issue. the hardest part is getting the light unplugged, and that ain't all that hard, it's just you have to do it by feel.

imo, it dramatically changes the way the rearend looks, more aggressive, match that with a good set of pipes and some will back away instead of attempting.....

btw: it's a 'spolier' not a 'wing'. wings are put on airplanes for lift, spoilers are put on cars to create rearend downforce.

side rant: NASCAR: are you listening???? i know you don't like being told what to do but when you get it wrong folks are gonna let you know.

Hi Charlie,

I remember discussing spoilers with you in Bowling Green...if you remember i have a Zo6 spoiler on my Monterey Red coupe

Are you still planning on leaving it flat black or are you going to get a painted one? Either way will look great on your car!!!

Here's a how to on the spoiler install...this specifically covers the full width "race" spoiler which requires drilling but this write-up should give a good idea what's involved with removing the oe spoiler. The Zo6 spoiler simply bolts right back inplace of the oe one.

Thanks Ken and this is good info. I do plan to leave it flat black for now anyway. I'll pm you if I have any questions.

I think I'll stick with the "Spoiler" the wing is a bit much for my personal taste.
