brakes issue
I'm ok with having to replace pads and/or rotors, but just yesterday I was crusing down a long, steep hill and at part throttle got up to 100-110...after I let off (and had not pressed the brake yet) the ABS light comes on, and the DIC tells me ABS malfunction, check TC, check AH.
Everything is functioning properly still...but pressing the TC button does nothing, and I didn't get a chance to test and see if the ABS was still working or not.
I get to my destination, turn off the car, come back a few hours later and all is well again. No warnings, TC and AH still disable/enable fine.
Is this something to worry about? Thanks for any input you guys can offer.
Or can I just make an appt. with a local dealership (anyone in Austin recommend?).
Based on these posts, if I had TC/AH enabled, I might have either veered off the side of this steep hill at 110 or into oncoming traffic.
Looks like I need to take it into the dealer ASAP.

A break-in period doesn't appear to be a concern but (and I'll say it anyway), don't drive 110 mph on a public road. There are many available venues where you can get your car onto a road course and really learn how to drive (and satisfy that need for speed at the same time). Sermon over.

Done the driving school courses, done the road racing tracks, I have confidence in my abilities and know my limitations.
That's why I'm glad I prefer AH and TC off in dry weather conditions and in this situation it seems like it might have saved a potentially bad incident from happening.
